Work Party Update – 26th January 2016
After spending most of October, November and early December working on props and scenery for the pantomime, we have now dismantled all the large props and returned to our regular maintenance schedule. We were kept busy during pantomime week, in particular with a major blockage in the gents and disabled toilets. This caused considerable flooding and extensive work was carried out to resolve the issue.
The halls have just had a new boiler installed and some of the new pipework left holes in a number of walls. This week, we partially filled in some of these holes using a mixture of bricks and cement.…

The remaining partitions were demolished tonight. We also painted the wall above and below the TV cabinet. Started to scrape paint off backdrop. Fixed the Church of Scotland sign and added “Keep Out, Private” to hatch in Session Room.…
